Shoes
It should be noted that the size run (meaning, if a shoe tends to have a small, large or standard fit) will vary depending on the shoe and brand because all manufacturers produce their shoes on slightly different size and measurement specs. Tip: In general, Nike shoes tend to run a half-size smaller and a bit narrower than shoes from other vendors.
Standard widths
The standard width of shoes for men is D and women is B. The site will display shoe sizes numerically on the pull down menu. Sizes are displayed based on the standard width for men and women unless noted otherwise with a letter.
Wide widths
New Balance offers a variety of widths. Depending on the model, women's New Balance shoes are available in a width range of AA-2E, and men's are available in a width range of AA-4E. Nike and ASICS offer some models in a wider width as well. They offer selected models in D widths for women and 2E for men.
